A little walk around the pond proved to be the best idea for this family shoot. There was so much to discover and so many cool places to explore. Like the prickly pine branches, or the way the dandelions flew off the stem. It's easy to see that this little miss is the center of her parent's universe. Thanks for the opportunity to meet you and take these for you!
My session with Ashley and her darling Baby H was nothing short of adorable. This little baba adores her mama, except sometimes if there's a camera pointed at them both. Baby H seemed to want the spotlight all to herself.
Ashley, thank you for the opportunity to take these for you. I loved meeting you both.
A chilly October afternoon proved to be worth every second I spent with this beautiful little family. Baby Q absolutely captured my heart. Thanks Kennedy and Riley for trusting me with these!
I love the babies! I especially love the babies and their cake smashes! But I absolutely adore the cake smashes when the baby gets totally into it! Baby S turned one recently and on his birthday, his mama threw him a birthday party - but not before we debut him as an #lwpbaby in a photoshoot that he rocked from start to finish! Look at this happy chappy - don't you just want to squeeze him? Thanks Fallon for trusting me with these!
Every wedding that I have the privilege of photographing is a unique love story. I enjoy the details, and watching the story unfold through the day. I especially love how unique each wedding is and that they are always a perfect reflection of the couple. Megan and Tyler's beautiful country backyard wedding was no different. The setting, the atmosphere, the people. I mean - what's not to love about a country bride being brought in on a horse carriage? Or a Unity Ceremony involving wheat and barley because they're farmers? But don't take my word for it - see for yourself! Congratulations Megan and Tyler! I wish you a beautiful future together.
Airdire, AB. A beautiful location for a fun family "engagement" shoot, and am adventurously themed "Winter in July" wedding. (Decor by MC Elegant Events). It was abundantly clear from the moment I stepped into their home, that Aaron and Colette valued only one thing greater than their love for each other, and that is, their family. I was quickly made to feel like one of their boisterous and energetic group as we took some family photos together. By the time the wedding itself rolled round, I felt right at home. We all panicked a little at the storm clouds brewing while we took photos in the park, but we were instead blessed with the best of both cloudy and clear skies all at once.
Aaron and Colette, it was truly an honour to capture these photos for you. Congratulations!
Just a few weeks before she arrived, I met her parents at their Baby Bump shoot. Baby E is simply beautiful - and I am grateful to have met her so early. Thanks Cody and Jenna for trusting me with your precious bundle. Congratulations and welcome to parenthood!
Never doubt you were born to do great things! Catherine Pulsifer
I don't think there's a phrase besides "Absolutely stunning!" that could describe Jordana. I think I may have told her I liked her dress at least 100 times! The backyard garden setting was vibrant after the recent rains, and we couldn't have had a better setting for her photos. Congratulations Jordana - I wish you the very best in whatever you choose to do next!
What's the weather out here lately in the prairies?? The Schwartz Family were good sports about that crazy wind. We ventured into Laporte SK for some neat photo opportunities. I think Diesel (their beautiful dog) was my favorite character. as he literally chased the wind through the tall grass.
Thanks for this little window into your lives!

Maddie. I am still stunned to realize you have finished high school! I'm proud of the fact that I "held it together" for this shoot...but I can't say the same for while I was editing it! I've known you since you were 5 years old - and over the last 13 years I've watched you grow into the stunning woman the world see's below. Thank you for allowing me more than just a window into your life. I am SO excited to see where life takes you. Your parents have taught you to be true to who you are and what you believe in. As you take off into the big wide world, I pray you will always soar over the valleys and celebrate every mountain top with the same sparkle and excitement. You are beautiful in and out.
Congratulations on your Grad!
Here are some of the highlights of my recent photography sessions.
